Terms of use
Effective October 31, 2026. These terms cover ANI Alerts, a free service of JD Media, LLC. By signing up you agree to them.
Not an emergency warning system
Do not rely on ANI Alerts for your safety. Alerts come from public sources and automated processing. They can be late, incomplete or wrong, and email can be delayed or filtered. Always follow official warnings: the National Weather Service, Wireless Emergency Alerts, NOAA Weather Radio, and local officials.
What the service is
Free email alerts and roundups built from public data and from posts by our labeled, automated Bluesky accounts. Content is produced automatically, mostly by open-source AI, and checked against its source, but we don't guarantee it is accurate or complete. Each item links to its source; the source controls. We are not affiliated with any government agency. Nothing in an alert is legal, financial, safety or professional advice.
Your part
Sign up only with an email address you control, and only for yourself. Don't misuse the sign-up form or the suggestion box (no spam, no automated submissions, no other people's personal information, nothing unlawful).
Suggestions
If you send us an idea, you give us permission to use it freely to improve the service, without payment or credit. We may not act on every suggestion.
Changes and ending
We may change, pause or stop any feed or the whole service at any time. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click from any email.
No warranty; limits on liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, JD Media, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or reliance on the service; our total liability for any claim is limited to $10. Some states don't allow some of these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
